 microsoft hololens:

pair of mixed reality smartglasses developed and manufactured by Microsoft. HoloLens was the first head-mounted display running the Windows Mixed Reality platform. Microsoft HoloLens is Microsoft take of augmented reality, or AR. using sensors and processers to create holograms which can be displayed seamlessly in the real world. HoloLens lets you view holograms, which are objects made of light and sound that appear in the world around you like real objects. ... Holograms are digital objects that are part of your world. this is a sizeable technical advancement when it came to Augmented reality. for its price, the technology wasn't really up to scratch in the first iteration. 

HoloLens 2 was announced  February 24, 2019 and was available on preorder at US$3,500, along with it came with several improvements that matched it up to more flagship vr and ar technology, like eye tracking, fully articulated hand tracking and spatial audio. hololens excel when it comes to companies, workplaces and factories where holograms would be of aid. the technology is why the thing is so insanely expensive and why Microsoft pivoted it toward the enterprise market rather than going after gamers and tech enthusiasts.
